We believe that the experience of cultural institutions and their audience improves if the diversity of attending communities is factored into both the programming and the physical design of the spaces where culture happens.
This website offers an overview of how accessible some of Bristol and its surrounding area’s most visited cultural spaces are, what resources they offer, and how their programming factors diverse needs in. To gather this information, we reached out to each venue by email and compiled their responses here. Where no reply was received, we used the accessibility details available on their websites.
Our goal is to open this resource to community submissions to share information as efficiently as possible. While we are working on that feature, please send any information you think is beneficial for others and that you would like us to add to the following email:
